Realtors® Recognize Leaders
The Lakes Area REALTORS Association recognized their first class of Emeritus Members at the organization’s annual banquet at Hawk’s View Golf Club on December 8, 2018. REALTOR® Emeritus status is granted to a REALTOR® member who has held membership in the National Association for a cumulative period of forty (40) years and has served the organization for at least one year as a volunteer. The Emeritus members recognized were Stephen Beers, Dale Hibbard, Michael Keefe, Lowell Kendall, Mary Kilkenny, Paul Mueller, Bob Rauland, and Bob Webster, Jr.
“We are proud to present these real estate pioneers with this national honor and have the opportunity to thank them for all they have done and continue to do for organized real estate, our association and our lakes area communities,” says Denise Schultz, CEO. She adds, “they never have to pay annual dues again, because they have paid their dues in more ways than one.” The honorees were pleased and proud, and shared many handshakes, hugs, and memories at the event.
Tim Vandeville, Jr. was awarded the first ever Emerging Leader award for his above and beyond accomplishments and driven attitude towards modern leadership of the association. Tim has served on the Board of Directors for two years and has been integral in the relocation and remodel of the physical office and the association’s online presence.
Tracy Sallee was recognized as the 2018 REALTOR® of the Year for her passion and enthusiasm in serving the organization as a volunteer leader focusing on engaging social programs and community interaction for the members. Tracy has been recognized by her peers for the positive impact she has on others through her dedication and leadership.
